BACKGROUND

 

Challenge

EPSG is a professional sales organization committed to the growth and success of their sales partners. Research showed that their sales partners weren't satisfied with the prospect and buy-rate offering process.

Solution

Working closely with the client and developers, I was able to customize an optimal experience for the users while starting an app from scratch.

CRITERIA

 

Buy-Rate Calculator

This is the floor rate the agent can offer the merchant, where they make no money off of residuals. This is information they want to know so they can offer more than the floor rate.

Prospect

A prospect is a potential merchant that hasn’t yet signed a contract with EPSG. It’s a sales representative’s job to give them a deal that will make both the client and the company happy. I gave the sales person the ability to scan a business card to ease the process.

Tracking

It is important that a sales partner is able to track proposal statuses and merchant locations to successfully close a deal.

DELIVERY

 

Implementation

The final presentations consisted of an interaction between the merchant scanning a business card to editing a prospects information, and a separate deliverable of the buy-rate calculator. This presentation was made for EPSG themselves as well as their own Salesforce and stakeholders.

RESULTS

 

Selling to Sellers

Sales people are very clear about their wants and needs, as they are very communicative. It was my job to meet their goals successfully using industry best practiced, and with that I was able to close my own deal with EPSG. The app is set to launch in Summer 2022, so stay tuned!
